TOKAJSKÉ PIVNICE (TOKAJ WINE CELLARS) 

Around near town - Sobrance - there is area of wine planting. Many tourists are going there for actions of tasting of wine. Most fo them also visit the spa near Sobrance with mineral water springs. 

 

Tokaj wine is categorized into gropu of yellow natural wines. It's character and chemical composition is made not only by individual strain composition, quality of raw materials or natural conditions, but also by the result of so-called oxidative technology of producting. Presence of oxygen in the run of maturation of bunch of grapes and wine is reason of "bread" taste, which si characteristic for this kind of wine. And this process must be realized in good cellar with many of this liquid treasure. 

 

  

 

ZEMPLÍNSKE MUZEUM (ZEMPLIN'S MUSEUM) 

Zemplínske múzeum is situated near the centre of Michalovce and offers several constant expositions (animals and birds, wine planting, the second world war). But in the bulding near musem - previous stable, there are regularly opened various touring expositions. Around the musem, there are uncovered foundations of pre-romanesque rotunda.
